GoReadyPrep is operated by CleverNRG LLC. We aim to make this site usable by as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technology.

Standard we follow

We design and build to WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our target. Specific practices include:

  • Color contrast ratios of 4.5:1 or higher for body text; 3:1 minimum for UI elements
  • Keyboard-navigable interactive elements with visible focus indicators (blaze-orange focus ring on form inputs and buttons)
  • Semantic HTML, proper heading hierarchy, form labels, landmark regions, descriptive link text
  • Alt text on meaningful imagery (placeholder blueprints have descriptive alt text and aren't load-bearing for product information)
  • Forms with explicit labels and inline error messaging
  • Respect for prefers-reduced-motion (we don't have heavy motion anyway, but the rule is honored where animation exists)
  • Error messages that describe the cause and the recovery path, not just "invalid input"

Conformance status

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means most of the content meets the standard, but some parts don't yet.

We don't claim full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance until an external audit confirms it. An audit is on our roadmap.

Known gaps

These are the limitations we're aware of as of the date at the top of this page:

  • System-generated SKU diagrams on some product pages currently show the SKU code in monospace as the alt-text fallback. Real photographs (with proper descriptive alt text) replace these as photo packs are loaded.
  • External screen-reader testing has not been performed.
  • Keyboard trap testing has not been performed.
  • Focus order on the cart and checkout flows has not been independently verified.

We will update this page as we close each gap.

Browsers and assistive tech we test against

We've spot-tested with:

  • Latest desktop Chrome, Safari, Firefox
  • iOS Safari with VoiceOver (limited testing)
  • macOS Safari with VoiceOver (limited testing)

We have not yet tested with:

  • NVDA, JAWS (Windows screen readers)
  • TalkBack (Android)
  • Voice Control (macOS / iOS / Android)
  • Switch Control (iOS)

If you use one of the untested combinations and hit something that doesn't work, please report it.

Report a barrier

If you hit a barrier on this site, email [email protected] with:

  • The URL of the page
  • A short description of what didn't work
  • The assistive technology you were using (screen reader name and version, browser, OS) if relevant

We respond to accessibility reports within 5 business days and will work with you to resolve specific issues, often before broader code changes ship. If a fix can be made quickly, we'll deploy it the same day; structural fixes get scheduled and we'll reply with the timeline.

Telephone alternative

If you need to reach us by phone, we have a Google Voice number listed on the /contact page. Voicemail is checked daily Mon–Fri ET; it's not a 24/7 line.
