Shipping Policy

Where we ship

  • All 50 US states + Washington, DC. Yes, with a few exceptions noted below
  • Alaska and Hawaii. Yes, but at higher rates that vary by item; the product page shows the specific cost
  • APO/FPO/DPO. Not yet supported. We'll add it once we have carrier coverage that handles it cleanly.
  • US territories (Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands), case by case; check the product page or contact us before ordering
  • International. Not supported. We don't ship outside the United States.

Restricted destinations within the US

A small number of products can't ship to certain states or zip codes due to carrier or hazmat restrictions:

  • Lithium-ion battery products over 100Wh. Air shipping restrictions apply; some routes may take longer or be ground-only. We'll show the lead time on the product page.
  • Pyrotechnic signaling devices (flares, pen flares). Not shippable to certain states; the product page will note availability.

We'll cancel and refund if you order to a restricted destination; we won't ship and then bill you for an undeliverable package.

Lead times

Each product page shows the specific lead time for that item, typically 3 to 10 business days from order to delivery.

Lead times reflect what the warehouse confirms. If processing delays significantly (more than 5 business days past the stated window), we'll email you with an updated estimate and offer a cancellation option.

Carriers

We ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on the item. The carrier and tracking number appear on the shipped-confirmation email and on the product page if relevant.

Tracking

You'll receive a "shipped" email when your order is dispatched. The email includes:

  • Carrier
  • Tracking number
  • Estimated delivery window

Tracking updates come from the carrier directly. We don't intercept or proxy them.

Lost or stuck packages

If the carrier marks a package as delivered but you don't have it:

  1. Wait 48 hours. late scans and same-day re-attempts happen
  2. Check with neighbors or the building manager if applicable
  3. Contact us at [email protected] with the order number and tracking; we'll open a carrier claim and either resend or refund

If tracking goes silent for more than 7 business days mid-transit, contact us and we'll investigate with the carrier.

Address changes after ordering

You can change the shipping address only while the order is still in its initial paid state, before we've started processing. Once processing begins, the address is locked and we can't change it.

To request an address change while the order is still PAID, use the contact form and include the order number. The earlier you tell us, the better.

Risk of loss

Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier marks the package as delivered to the address you provided.

Shipping costs

For now, shipping is calculated at checkout based on item and destination. Some products include free shipping; others don't. The product page and the checkout page will show the exact amount before you pay.

Multi-warehouse shipments

Cart items may ship in multiple packages, depending on what's in the cart. You'll get a shipped email for each. We don't currently consolidate split shipments.
